
How to use Address Importer in cPanel
Description :
Multiple email address or multiple forwarders in one account can be created by cPanel using cPanel Address Importer.
For instance, using cPanel Address Importer an organization can create email address for each of its employees, irrespective of the number of employees, in one account.
Only two types of data
- Excel Spreadsheet (.xls) or
- Comma separated value sheet (.csv) support cPanel Address importer.
How to import email addresses in cPanel :
cPanel email addresses can be imported by
Step 1 : Click Address Importer under cPanel Email section.
Step 2 : Under step 1 from the interface, select Email Accounts
Step 3 : Browse and select the desired CSV or XLS file.
In case of XLS files, the first row is usually treated as header of the column.
Select the checkbox stating “Treat first row as column header”.
In case of CSV files, delimiter is asked and usually it is Comma and click Next.
Step 4 : Select the header column-wise. Also select the domain desired to create the emails.
Click Next.
Step 5 : Preview of the table created appears.
Make a note of it so you retain a copy of the passwords against to the emails.
cPanel automatically generate the email, password and Quota for the email, password and Quota which are not appropriately provided.
Step 6 : Click Finish and the email addresses are imported.
How to import email Forwarders in cPanel :
cPanel email Forwarders can be imported by:
Step 1 : Click Address Importer under cPanel Email section.

Step 3 : Browse and select the desired CSV or XLS file.

Step 4 : Select the header column-wise.
Select the source and destination column.
Click Next.
Step 5 : Review of the forwarders which are being imported will appear as:
Step 6 : Click Finish and the forwarders are imported.
